Text version

The UK Disability History and Heritage Hub are planning an event about Disabled, Neurodivergent, and/or Deaf history.

We want to bring people together to talk about things like:

• Academic scholarship
• Museum projects
• Independent research
• Activism and social justice

We are looking for people to give short presentations about their work and experiences. A presentation may be a talk or speech. It could also be a conversation, interview, or artistic piece!

Presentations are to be around 5 minutes long. People can also suggest longer presentations.

Presentations will be given in person at Manchester Deaf Center.

• Presenter Submission Deadline - Weds 17th April
• Acceptance Notification - Fri 19th April
• Event Registration begins for all - Thu 25th April
• Event Registration ends (in-person) - Thu 23rd May
